Robinhood outlines Kalshi flow shift toward Rothera and OG.com

Robinhood chief financial officer Shiv Verma said most of the flow Robinhood now sends to Kalshi will instead go to Rothera, the exchange Robinhood owns with Susquehanna, and to Crypto.com's OG.com by the end of the year into early next year. Rothera already handled 6.4 billion dollars of volume in the third quarter and brought Robinhood 100 million dollars in revenue, according to InGame.

Robinhood plans to redirect most of the flow it currently sends to Kalshi toward Rothera and Crypto.com’s OG.com by the end of the year into early next year, according to TrueEdge Wire.

Chief financial officer Shiv Verma described the planned change. The timetable points to a transition spanning the end of 2026 and the beginning of 2027, rather than an immediate switch.

Rothera’s existing contribution

Rothera is an exchange jointly owned by Robinhood and Susquehanna. The planned routing change would send more of Robinhood’s current Kalshi flow to that exchange, alongside Crypto.com’s OG.com.

According to InGame, Rothera handled 6.4 billion dollars in volume during the third quarter and generated 100 million dollars in revenue for Robinhood. Those figures establish an existing business contribution ahead of the planned shift.

What it means for prediction markets

  • Kalshi’s Robinhood-sourced flow is set to decline: The plan covers most, rather than all, of the flow Robinhood currently sends to Kalshi.
  • Two destinations stand to receive that flow: Rothera and Crypto.com’s OG.com are the named recipients, but the supplied reporting does not specify how the flow would be divided.
  • Timing remains a monitoring point: Verma’s stated window runs from the end of the year into early next year; it is a plan, not confirmation that the transition has been completed.
