Jeffries Speaker market reaches 90 cents amid concentrated Kalshi trading
Kalshi's next Speaker of the House contract priced Hakeem Jeffries at an 89 cent bid and a 90 cent last trade on November 4, with about 25,180 of its 67,901 lifetime contracts changing hands in 24 hours. The market, listed since February 2025, asks whether Jeffries is the first Speaker after Mike Johnson before 2031, and would settle after the new House elects a Speaker when Congress convenes on January 3, 2027.
