Kalshi accounts for the largest share

Kalshi generated $213 million in sports trading volume, ahead of Polymarket US at $74 million and Polymarket at $54 million, according to DeFi Rate. Kalshi’s total represented more than half of the reported activity across the seven platforms.

The most heavily traded event was AEK Athens against Real Madrid on Kalshi, with $2 million in volume. Real Madrid was favored at 82 percent.

What it means for prediction markets

  • The 22 percent decline measures a change between two consecutive 24-hour periods; it does not, by itself, establish a longer-term trend.
  • Kalshi’s majority share of the reported volume places it at the center of this snapshot of sports prediction-market activity.
  • Real Madrid’s 82 percent reading reflects the market’s assessment of the event, not a confirmed outcome.
