Predictions.io finds narrower pool of comparable prices across Polymarket and Kalshi

Predictions.io says that of the 147 closest matches still open on both venues that it price-checked, 73 had an outcome matched by name on both sides and 72 carried a price on each side synced recently. Its index tracks 2,839 open Polymarket questions with 6.2 billion dollars in volume on open markets and 5,764 open Kalshi questions with 2.0 billion dollars.

Predictions.io tracked 2,542 validated question matches between Polymarket and Kalshi as of November 5, according to its November 5, 2026 update published at 11:15 AM ET. Its price checks covered a smaller set of questions still open on both venues.

From question matches to price comparisons

Of the 147 closest matches that remained open on both platforms and were checked for prices, 73 had an outcome matched by name on each side, according to Predictions.io.

The update also identified 72 with a price on both sides that had been synchronized recently. These figures distinguish the broader inventory of validated question matches from the smaller set with recently synchronized prices available across both venues.

Open-market coverage

Predictions.io’s index covered 2,839 open Polymarket questions, with 6.2 billion dollars in volume on open markets. For Kalshi, it tracked 5,764 open questions with 2.0 billion dollars in volume.

Kalshi therefore had more open questions in the index, while Polymarket had greater volume on open markets. Those platform-wide figures describe the index’s coverage, rather than the size of the subset checked for comparable prices.

What it means for prediction markets

The 2,542 validated question matches should not be read as 2,542 recently synchronized, two-sided price comparisons.
Outcome-name matching and price availability are separate checks: Predictions.io reported 73 matches on the former measure and 72 on the latter within the 147 questions checked.
