French police investigate 12 Polymarket accounts that predicted the exact Ballon d'Or top five order, Gaming America reports

The 12 accounts wagered about 264,000 dollars on the same top five finishers in the correct order, Harry Kane ahead of Kylian Mbappé, Lamine Yamal, Rodri and Lionel Messi, and withdrew about 500,000 dollars after the announcement, according to Upside24 reporting cited by Gaming America. Organizer Groupe Amaury said on October 31 it would file a criminal complaint, and no wrongdoing has been established.
