ProphetX partners with Juice Reel to bring regulated prediction markets in-app

Users can now trade event contracts on ProphetX's CFTC-regulated exchange inside the app.

ProphetX has partnered with Juice Reel to let users trade event contracts on its CFTC-regulated exchange without leaving the Juice Reel app. Announced in NEW YORK on Oct. 14, 2026, the integration is live in jurisdictions where ProphetX is authorized to operate, according to a company announcement distributed by PRNewswire.

Trading joins tracking and forecasting

The partnership adds exchange access to Juice Reel’s existing tools for tracking activity across platforms and finding sports forecasters with verified performance records. Juice Reel says its app serves hundreds of thousands of traders, connects with 300+ venues to import trades automatically, and provides analytics on users’ performance. It is available on iOS and Android.

ProphetX Co-Founder Jake Benzaquen framed the integration as a way for that community to trade sports outcomes at prices set by participants rather than odds established by a bookmaker. Juice Reel CEO Ricky Gold emphasized execution speed and competitive pricing as complements to the app’s ability to identify forecasters with documented results. Those benefits were presented as company claims, not independently measured outcomes.

Exchange infrastructure behind the app

Under ProphetX’s B2B model, the exchange takes responsibility for clearing, custody, market operations, and core regulatory and operational duties. According to the announcement carried by PRNewswire, Juice Reel can therefore offer access to the infrastructure without registering as a DCM or DCO itself.

Founded in 2018, ProphetX describes itself as America’s first federally regulated, sports-native prediction market. Its U.S. exchange offers event-driven contracts, with a sports foundation and plans to broaden into other event markets. The company states that its ambition is to build a trusted, innovative marketplace for participation in event outcomes.

What it means for prediction markets

  • An additional distribution channel: Juice Reel users can now access ProphetX contracts alongside their tracking and forecasting tools, rather than moving to a separate app.
  • A partner-led infrastructure model: ProphetX supplies the regulated exchange functions while Juice Reel retains the user-facing product and customer relationships.
  • Reach is not the same as trading activity: Juice Reel’s stated audience provides potential distribution, but the announcement supplies no figures for adoption, contract volume or liquidity from the integration.
  • Availability remains jurisdiction-dependent: The launch applies where ProphetX is authorized to operate, not necessarily everywhere Juice Reel is available.

Taiwanese local elections: Kuomintang falls further to 71%, DPP rises to 30.1%

Moved from 75.5% KMT / 22.7% DPP earlier today, on $295.6K total volume.

KMT remains ahead as DPP gains

Kuomintang (KMT) remained the favorite in the Polymarket market on Taiwan’s 2026 local-election party winner, but its displayed probability fell to 71% from 75.5% earlier today. The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) rose to 30.1% from 22.7%, narrowing the distance between the two outcomes.

According to polymarkettrader.com, the latest snapshot was recorded on October 15, 2026 at 12:50 UTC. Its separate 24-hour comparison showed KMT down 4.5 percentage points and DPP up 5.9 percentage points; that daily comparison is distinct from the earlier-today figures.

Total trading volume stood at $295.6K, including $18.7K over the last 24 hours, with liquidity of $179.3K. Reported volume by outcome was $113.8K for KMT, $108.1K for DPP and $73.8K for the Taiwan People’s Party (TPP). The source gives inconsistent TPP probability readings: below 0.1% in its structured summary and 0.1% in its FAQ.

Settlement depends on local-government victories

The elections are scheduled for November 28, 2026, while the market’s listed end date is November 29, 2026. According to the rules reproduced by polymarkettrader.com, settlement depends on which party’s official candidates win the most qualifying mayoral and magistrate contests—not on an aggregate vote total. Candidates must be both nominated by and registered with their party; independents do not contribute to any party’s tally.

The qualifying mayoral contests cover Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Taichung City, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, Keelung City, Hsinchu City and Chiayi City. The magistrate contests cover Yilan County, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Changhua County, Nantou County, Yunlin County, Chiayi County, Pingtung County, Taitung County, Hualien County, Penghu County, Lienchiang County and Kinmen County.

A party secures the market outcome when no competitor can mathematically match or exceed its number of victories. If parties finish level at the top, alphabetical order of their English names as listed in the market group determines the winner. The market remains open until a winner is established or all relevant results become official.

If any results remain unknown at June 30, 2027 11:59 PM ET, settlement uses the results available by then; if none are known, it resolves to “Other”. The rules cite a consensus of credible reporting, with ambiguity settled solely through official Taiwanese government results from the Central Election Commission. Polymarket’s published rules control settlement.

What it means for prediction markets

  • The favorite has weakened, not changed. KMT still leads at 71%, while DPP’s rise to 30.1% reflects a narrower market advantage.
  • These are price snapshots. The source interprets Polymarket YES-share prices as probabilities and refreshes twice daily; the figures are neither live nor executable quotes.
  • The contest count matters. Only the specified mayoral and magistrate victories determine settlement, with independent wins excluded and an alphabetical tie-break applying.
  • The listed end date is not decisive. Official results and the market’s resolution conditions govern the settlement timetable.

Infiniti Briefing

Bitcoin above $82,000 on October 16 draws $291K in 24 hours, with that outcome at 55% Polymarket's Oct. 16 Bitcoin book ranks 31st by 24-hour volume.

Two snapshots differ on Bitcoin’s $82,000 threshold

Polymarket’s market on whether Bitcoin will be above $82,000 on October 16 shows a modest lean toward that outcome, but the supplied figures differ. The briefing summary, published Oct 15, 2026 at 12:24 PM ET, puts the probability at 55%, with $291K in 24-hour volume and a ranking of 31st.

According to polydict.app, its snapshot labeled Oct 15, 04:27 PM UTC instead lists the October 16 Bitcoin market at 60% for the $82,000 threshold, with $360K in 24-hour volume and a ranking of 23rd. Those figures should be treated as separate readings, rather than combined into a single market update.

The polydict.app listing gives the market an end date of Oct 16, 2026 and shows 10 additional outcomes. Its volume figure covers the listed market; the source does not identify how much trading occurred specifically in the $82,000 outcome.

Bitcoin activity spans several time horizons

Other Bitcoin markets also feature in the polydict.app rankings. According to the outlet, the October price-target market ranks 15th with $588K in 24-hour volume, displaying a 62% probability for reaching $85,000. The 2026 price-target market ranks 19th with $515K, displaying 59% for reaching $90,000.

Shorter-horizon listings include the October 15 price-target market at 25th, with $333K in volume and 47% for reaching $83,000. The October 12–18 market ranks 32nd with $295K and 47% for reaching $84,000, according to polydict.app. These questions cover different periods and conditions from the October 16 above-threshold market.

What it means for prediction markets

  • Keep the snapshots distinct. The summary’s 55%, $291K and 31st-place figures differ from polydict.app’s 60%, $360K and 23rd-place reading. The supplied material does not explain the discrepancy.
  • Separate market volume from outcome volume. The listing does not establish that all reported trading was concentrated in the $82,000 threshold.
  • Compare contract conditions, not just probabilities. Reaching a price during a period is a different question from being above a threshold on a specified date. According to polydict.app, settlement follows Polymarket’s rules and designated resolution source.
