Polymarket F1 championship market prices Kimi Antonelli near 98% to win the 2026 title

Quiet quarter-hour — no significant new platform headline in the last 15 minutes, so this fresh sports contract leads, in a different category from the last three…

Polymarket’s 2026 Formula 1 Drivers Championship market put Kimi Antonelli near 98% in an October 13 snapshot, according to ScoresAndStats. The Mercedes driver has 340 points after the Singapore Grand Prix, giving him a 102-point advantage over teammate George Russell with six races remaining.

That pricing leaves little probability assigned to the rest of the field. Max Verstappen was around 1%, while Russell, Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc and Norris were each below 1%, ScoresAndStats reported. Those figures reflect prediction-market prices, rather than sportsbook moneylines or an independent forecasting model.

Singapore strengthens Antonelli’s position

Verstappen won both the Singapore Sprint and Grand Prix, following his victory in Malaysia. But Antonelli’s third-place Grand Prix finish, alongside Russell’s ninth, helped widen the championship gap. Antonelli earned 20 points across the Singapore weekend; Verstappen collected the maximum 33.

After 17 Grands Prix, Russell has 238 points, Hamilton 229 and Verstappen 221, according to ScoresAndStats. Antonelli’s advantage means he can secure the championship through consistent scoring rather than further victories: the outlet calculates that 49 additional points would put him beyond Russell’s maximum possible total of 388.

Austin offers an early clinching opportunity

The next race is the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of The Americas on October 25, 2026. Citing Formula 1’s official October 13 calculations, ScoresAndStats reports that Antonelli can clinch there if he wins, Russell finishes ninth or lower and Hamilton finishes fifth or lower. Verstappen’s finishing position would not prevent the clinch if those conditions are met.

The championship market nevertheless retains some uncertainty. Reliability failures, collisions, penalties and shifts in competitiveness remain possible over the final six races. Verstappen’s recent victories also highlight why a driver’s prospects in individual races can differ sharply from his chances of overcoming a large championship deficit.

What it means for prediction markets

  • Near 98% is a market assessment, not a settled result. Antonelli’s substantial points lead supports the pricing, but the title remains undecided.
  • October 25 is the next key checkpoint. The Austin results could deliver a championship clinch under the conditions reported by ScoresAndStats.
  • Standings and market rankings differ. Russell is Antonelli’s nearest challenger on points, yet Verstappen was priced above him in the October 13 snapshot.
  • Race contracts and title contracts capture different outcomes. Verstappen’s consecutive Grand Prix wins have not removed his 119-point championship deficit.
