Coverage and timing
PredScope’s statistics page describes its coverage separately as 634+ active prediction markets. The supplied page text does not display the exact 644-market count or $288.8M total reported in the headline, so those headline figures cannot be independently confirmed from that extract.
According to PredScope Prediction Market Statistics, October 26, 2026, the service draws on Polymarket’s public API and refreshes automatically every 10 minutes. The page’s latest update is Oct 26, 2026 at 16:35 UTC, later than the supplied story publication time of Oct 26, 2026 · 12:24 PM ET. PredScope defines its volume figures as total USDC wagered.
What the dashboard measures
The dashboard tracks activity by category, the largest probability changes over the previous 24 hours, the distribution of trading volume across active markets and the distribution of leading-outcome probabilities. However, the supplied extract contains no category totals, individual market rankings or probability changes, limiting conclusions about what drove the reported turnover.
What it means for prediction markets
Aggregate activity is not directional evidence. The reported volume alone does not establish which outcomes traders favored or which probabilities changed.
Coverage needs qualification. The headline’s 644 markets and the page’s 634+ description are different levels of specificity, not necessarily contradictory counts.
Timestamps matter. A dashboard refreshed every 10 minutes can change after publication; comparisons should use a consistent observation time.
Market-level detail is missing. The extract does not establish whether activity was broadly distributed or concentrated in a small number of contracts.
