- Taiwan blocks Kalshi and Coinbase websites ahead of local elections, SCCG Management reports — Taiwan authorities have blocked the Kalshi and Coinbase websites ahead of the November 28, 2026 local elections, applying the Public Officials Election and Recall Act to profit-based election betting. SCCG Management, citing Bloomberg reporting via Inside Asian Gaming, says Kalshi joins Polymarket among the prediction platforms now blocked, in a court-ordered enforcement action requested by the Criminal Investigation Bureau and published October 19.
