Stock perpetuals win United States clearance, but a halt in the underlying stock can still block exits, CryptoPulseDaily reports

  • Stock perpetuals win United States clearance, but a halt in the underlying stock can still block exits, CryptoPulseDaily reports — CryptoPulseDaily reports the CFTC said on November 3 that single-stock perpetual futures could begin trading on eligible regulated exchanges, but the contracts must stop trading whenever the underlying stock is under a regulatory halt. Coinbase's individual product record still showed approval pending when checked on November 4, and securities industry group SIFMA wrote on November 2 seeking further review of the Bitnomial, Coinbase, Kalshi and Nadex proposals.
