- NFL remains the major league holdout on prediction markets as Barkley divests his Polymarket stake, FTW reports — The NFL has signed no prediction market partnership while the NBA, NHL, MLB and MLS have, and it filed an amicus brief backing New Jersey's request for Supreme Court review of whether sports event contracts fall under state regulators. Saquon Barkley told Front Office Sports the league made him divest his equity stake in Polymarket, and the league's brief said more than half of prediction market trading volume on the first Sunday of the season was NFL-related.
