- New York sues Polymarket US unit in expanded state fight over prediction markets — New York Attorney General Letitia James and Governor Kathy Hochul announced a lawsuit against the domestic branch of Polymarket, seeking a court order to stop it operating as an unlicensed gambling business in the state. New York already has similar actions underway against Kalshi, Coinbase Financial Markets and Gemini Titan, while the CFTC has argued it should be the sole regulator. (Engadget)
