- Kalshi chief executive says state legal clash could head to Supreme Court and company is very confident in its position, Reuters reports — Kalshi co-founder and chief executive Tarek Mansour told Reuters on its Econ World podcast that the clash with dozens of states over who regulates prediction markets could eventually reach the Supreme Court. Mansour said Kalshi is very confident that the Commodity Exchange Act gives the CFTC authority over its sports contracts, and Reuters noted the dispute comes as a new funding round values Kalshi at around 40 billion dollars.
