- CBS News designates Kalshi as prediction market sponsor for 2026 midterm election coverage, SCCG reports — CBS News will air Kalshi contract prices during its 2026 midterm election coverage after designating Kalshi as its prediction market sponsor, SCCG reported. At the time of the announcement Kalshi priced Democratic Senate control at 63 percent and Democratic House control at 91 percent, while the Texas Senate market had drawn more than 16.4 million dollars in trading volume.
